unfortunately there will be no Internet connection. By the time I got the details it was too late to enable the line. Now, if a BT employee could pull some strings... or make Norwin pull some strings... :) Marty
I know some of the folk in "Spires", but their IT policy wouldn't stretch to allowing us to share their network. And the main hall isn't cabled - and the stone walls absorb/block wifi easily! AMe
Our usage would kill their network. We held an event in Spires before and installed ADSL, requiring a couple of BT engineers. The line is still in the hall, but is no longer active. As this event is more business-focused than hacker-focused I hadn't thought about getting the line reactivated until it was too late. Marty 01:10, 15 March 2006 (UTC)
